BURGEON SOAP
This project began with an investigation into the waste of single-use hotel soaps. It led me to explore bio-based materials and the environmental harm of chemical soap bases. I proposed an alternative: a natural soap made from lard and alkaline water, which not only cleans but also helps regulate soil pH.
By embedding seeds into the soap, I ensured it could still sprout after use. Tests confirmed both cleansing and germination functions, allowing the soap to be planted directly into soil—closing the product’s lifecycle and reducing waste.
