Philosophical Design
This installation transforms the door into an active architectural element of transition, where each compartment and foldout panel embodies a behavioral or emotional cue associated with entering or leaving a space. By layering physical interaction onto the surface of the door, the user is prompted to recognize the threshold not as a gap, but as a stage — a place of preparation, identity shift, and reflection. In doing so, the design makes the intangible concept of liminality tactile and visual, encouraging deeper awareness of spatial and psychological transitions.
